HYROX Training - the shed

Whether you're preparing for your first HYROX event or chasing a new personal best, the shed is your home for HYROX training in the Fraser Valley.

As an official HYROX Training Club, we provide structured training, expert coaching, and a supportive community to help you become stronger, fitter, and race-ready.

What is Hyrox...

HYROX is the world's fastest-growing fitness race, combining endurance running with functional strength exercises. Unlike obstacle course races, every HYROX event follows the exact same format, making it accessible for beginners while providing a benchmark for experienced athletes to continually improve.

Every race consists of:

  • 1km Run

  • Functional Workout Station

...repeated 8 times.

The race includes:

  • 1km Run

  • 1,000m SkiErg

  • 1km Run

  • 50m Sled Push

  • 1km Run

  • 50m Sled Pull

  • 1km Run

  • 80m Burpee Broad Jumps

  • 1km Run

  • 1,000m Row

  • 1km Run

  • 200m Farmer's Carry

  • 1km Run

  • 100m Sandbag Lunges

  • 1km Run

  • 100 Wall Balls

 

Whether you're racing individually, in doubles, or as part of a relay team, HYROX is designed to challenge every aspect of your fitness.

What does Hyrox Training look like?

At the shed, our sessions are designed around the demands of race day.

Training includes:

  • Running intervals and pacing strategies

  • SkiErg and RowErg technique

  • Sled push and sled pull work

  • Farmer's carries

  • Sandbag lunges

  • Wall ball practice

  • Burpee broad jumps

  • Strength training

  • Conditioning workouts

  • Race simulations

  • Recovery and mobility work

 

Every workout can be scaled, making HYROX suitable whether you're completely new to fitness or an experienced competitor.

That's two days before tickets go on general public sale, giving you the best chance of securing your preferred race category and start time.

Weekly HYROX Challenge Series

 

Every week we run a new HYROX challenge where members can:

  • Test themselves on individual race stations

  • Record benchmark times

  • Track progress throughout the year

  • Compete against themselves and other members

  • Build confidence before race day

 

It's a fun, supportive way to see your improvements week after week.

Race Simulation Events

 

Nothing prepares you for race day like practising it.

 

Throughout the year we host HYROX race simulations where athletes experience race pacing, transitions, strategy, and competition in an encouraging environment before stepping onto the official race floor.

We know everyone trains differently, so we offer multiple ways to prepare.

 

HYROX Drop-In Sessions

  • $15 per session

  • Perfect for anyone wanting to experience HYROX or supplement their current training.

 

Private Coaching

  • 1:1 coaching

  • Small group coaching

  • Personalised programming based on your goals and experience.

 

App-Based Programming

 

Train wherever you are with structured HYROX programming delivered through our coaching app. Receive professionally designed workouts, track your progress, and communicate directly with your coach for ongoing support.
